My strongest memories of James, centre around the time he and Ellery lived in the old school house on our property at Clonbinane, Victoria prior to leaving for Germany. Despite the passing years my mind always sees a young (about 11) smiling and enthusiastic boy who embraced his swimming lessons, his new German lessons and the prospect of his new life in Germany with great confidence.From all that I have gleaned over the years from his mother, this is how he continued in life.
